HearthCardCheck examines SD cards, microSD cards and USB flash drives to determine whether the advertised storage capacity is real. It writes a position marker into every block, reads the blocks back, and counts mismatches. The resulting count shows the true usable size. The program can then resize the partition to match that true size, preventing future data loss. All testing runs directly on the Windows machine without any network activity.
The application performs three test depths. A quick sample checks scattered blocks. A partial test covers the first eight gigabytes. A full test verifies every block on the card. During each test the program records read and write throughput and evaluates the health of the flash memory. The final screen gives a clear verdict: genuine, fake, or failing. If the card is fake, the exact real capacity is shown.
Before any destructive operation the software lists the selected device and requires administrator elevation. Data is erased during testing and repair, so users must copy important files elsewhere first. The program does not use cloud services or accounts. A one-time payment removes trial limits. The interface supports 18 languages, and the installer is distributed through the official website and the Microsoft Store.
