N1 Viewer is a Windows image browser and culling application for photographers, retouchers and archivists who work with local folders. It provides preview-first navigation, persistent caching, GPU or iGPU rendering, HDR and wide-gamut color management, batch metadata editing and comparison views. The program reads common web formats, professional editing formats and RAW files from major camera brands.
The application includes Filmstrip, Gallery and Culling modes with ratings, Pick or Reject flags, labels and auto-advance. Search, filters, multi-select and Explorer-order persistence support folder organization. Duplicate Search identifies exact and near-duplicate images across filenames, formats, resolutions and compression levels. Touch, pen and multi-monitor arrangements adapt the workspace to different hardware configurations.
Optional local AI features provide visual search, Find Similar, Auto Tags, generated titles, metadata suggestions and OCR text search using GPU, iGPU or CPU acceleration. Color handling covers SDR, Wide Gamut and HDR through Windows Advanced Color with ICC profiles and 8-bit to 16-bit decode. N1 Viewer is available from the Microsoft Store with a 7-day trial.
