PlaylistForge generates ordered music playlists from text descriptions. The output contains real recordings with version notes and short justifications. A revision system keeps every previous state available. Streaming imports and a Soundiiz link support export workflows.
The application runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It uses a local SQLite file for storage and the operating system credential store for API keys and session tokens. Cost estimates appear before each generation request.
No account or telemetry is required. The program verifies tracks using web search to prevent invented recordings. Imported playlists remain read-only and never modify the user's streaming library.
