RELYR is a remapping utility that changes what keyboard keys and mouse buttons do under specific conditions. It uses hold-activated layers so the same physical input can perform different tasks depending on which modifier key is pressed. Profiles for individual applications switch without user intervention.
The program stores everything on the local machine. It includes a recorder for keystroke sequences, a system for directional mouse gestures, and actions for moving windows between screens. A floating panel called the Deck holds launchers and system monitors.
RELYR runs on Windows 10 and 11. It does not send input data anywhere. An emergency key combination stops all remapping at once. The current package is a beta release without signed installers, so operating system warnings are expected during setup.
