Riplox is a free video downloader for Windows that a phone can drive. Share a link from any phone app and the download starts on the PC at full quality, straight to the hard drive. No cable, no re-typing the address, and the PC does not have to be awake when you send it. It is also an ordinary complete downloader: paste a link and keep the video.
Away from home the phone link travels through a relay that carries a sealed envelope it cannot read. Only the link ever travels; the video is fetched by the PC on its own connection. Every quality shows the file size before you choose, and a running download shows how much has arrived, not just a percentage.
Riplox survives a bad afternoon: changing Wi-Fi does not fail a download, a stopped transfer retries on its own, and a quiet one is stopped and told to you. Whole playlists, channel sections, subtitles, chapters, and SponsorBlock segments work where the site provides them. The portable build runs from a USB stick, and everything saved stays in a Data folder beside the program.
