StemDeck performs six-track source separation on a local machine. The program accepts common audio and video files or a YouTube link, then isolates vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and other elements into separate lanes. Each lane has its own fader, mute, and solo controls. Users can zoom the waveform, set loop points, and export either individual stems or a mixed file. Processing happens without network transfers after the initial download.
The software package runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS without installation. It detects NVIDIA CUDA, Apple MPS, or CPU automatically. A built-in analysis function reports tempo, key, scale confidence, integrated loudness, and peak level. The library organizes imported songs into folders with search and trash controls. Jobs can be cancelled at any point, and the program cleans up partial files before returning to a ready state.
This release fixes a Windows portable startup failure where the backend health check timed out after 90 seconds. The shell now uses a token-based identity check that works through the Python launcher process. Linux and macOS builds were unaffected. The update is available as a full download or through the in-app updater for existing installations.
