Orynivo is a desktop app for playing and organizing a personal music collection stored on local drives. It reads standard audio files and presents them through a structured library with browsing by artist, album, track, genre, or folder. The player supports high-resolution formats and includes tools for playlists, favourites, queue editing, lyrics, and cover artwork. No account is needed, and the local database stays on the user's computer.
The program works on Windows, Linux, and macOS, with audio outputs selected per operating system and hardware. It can play FLAC, WAV, MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, and DSD files, with ReplayGain, a parametric equalizer, and gapless transitions. An optional server mode shares the library across a local network, while radio, podcasts, Plex access, and AI integration remain separate features that can be turned off.
Orynivo is built around local data ownership and does not upload music files anywhere. External online services are contacted only for metadata, lyrics, artwork, radio, podcast, Plex, or AI features when the user enables them. The application includes a backup system for the library database and settings, and it can restore the complete state on another computer. Development has focused on accurate audio output and support for both PCM and native DSD playback paths.
