DevT Pro

DevT Pro — Free Download. Developer utilities

DevT Pro is a native desktop application for macOS and Windows that packages more than 120 developer utilities into one program. It handles conversion, generation, encoding, decoding, validation, formatting, previewing, hashing, encryption, timestamp work, regular expression testing, identifier generation, diff comparison and QR code creation. Every operation runs locally on the machine, so source code, tokens, keys and configuration files never leave the device and no account is required to start working.

  • Converters, 46 tools. This group transforms structured data between formats without loss. JSON converts to and from CSV, YAML, XML and TOML. YAML converts to and from TOML. CSV converts to and from TSV. The converters are intended for configuration files, data exports, API payloads and migration tasks where a format change is required before the data can be read by another system.
  • Code generators, 19 tools. These utilities produce source code from existing input. JSON documents become typed models in TypeScript, Swift and other target languages. cURL commands become ready-to-run HTTP client code in Python, Rust, Go and additional languages. The generators remove repetitive manual translation between a request sample and the code that must reproduce it.
  • Encoders and decoders, 13 tools. This category converts data between representations. Base64 encoding and decoding, URL encoding and decoding, JWT decoding, HTML entity encoding and decoding, and hexadecimal or ASCII conversion are included. The tools are used for inspecting tokens, preparing payloads, reading transport-encoded content and checking how a string will appear after encoding.
  • Cryptography, 3 tools. The cryptographic group covers hash generation with algorithms such as SHA-256, symmetric encryption and decryption with AES-256, and RSA key pair generation. All calculations happen on the local device. The tools support integrity checks, password and secret handling, and preparation of keys for development and testing environments.
  • Validators and formatters, 13 tools. These utilities check and normalize structured documents. JSON, XML and YAML validators report syntax errors and structural problems. Formatters beautify JSON, XML, YAML, CSS and SQL, while minifiers reduce file size by removing unnecessary whitespace. The combination supports debugging malformed input and preparing files for production.
  • Viewers and previewers, 9 tools. This group renders content for inspection. JSON is displayed as a collapsible tree, CSV as a table, and HTML, Markdown, SVG and images are previewed inline. The viewers are used to confirm that a document is structured correctly and to inspect rendered output without leaving the application.
  • Date and time utilities, 4 tools. Timestamp conversion, age calculation, date difference calculation and a world clock are included. These tools translate between Unix timestamps and readable dates, measure intervals between two dates and check current time in multiple zones. They support logging analysis, scheduling checks and deadline calculations.
  • General utilities, 11 tools. This group contains UUID and ULID generation, regular expression testing, cron expression parsing, diff viewing and color conversion, among others. Identifiers are produced in multiple versions, expressions are tested against sample text, cron schedules are expanded into upcoming run times, and two texts are compared line by line.
  • QR code tools, 2 tools. The application generates and reads QR codes without network access. Generation covers plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, vCard contact data and batch output. Reading works from image files. The tools are used for sharing configuration, contact details and links between devices in environments without connectivity.
  • Command palette. A searchable palette opens with a keyboard shortcut and reaches any of the 120+ tools by typing part of its name. Navigation does not require menus or a mouse. The palette is the primary entry point for users who switch between many utilities during a working session.
  • Tab-based workflow. Multiple tools run simultaneously in separate tabs. A JSON document can remain open in one tab while a regular expression test runs in another and identifier generation continues in a third. Tabs preserve their state, so switching between tasks does not require re-entering input.
  • Code editor component. Every input and output field is a full editor with syntax highlighting, code folding, find and replace, and adjustable split ratios. Large documents remain readable, and folding hides irrelevant sections while a specific part of a file is examined or edited.
  • Keyboard operation. The application supports full keyboard navigation. Shortcuts cover tab management, panel visibility, editor maximization, split resetting, clipboard clearing and direct opening of favorite tools. The design keeps both hands on the keyboard during repetitive sequences of conversions and checks.
  • Local processing and privacy. No network calls are made during operation. There is no account system, no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising. Files, tokens, keys and secrets are processed in memory on the device, which suits work with confidential data and use on machines without internet access.
  • Platform support and licensing. Versions exist for macOS 13 and later on Apple Silicon and Intel, and for Windows 10 and 11 on x86 and ARM through emulation. Sixteen tools are available at no cost. A single one-time purchase unlocks the full set of 120+ tools with no subscription, no in-app purchases and no renewal.

DevT Pro was created by an independent development team that began work on the project in the early 2020s and released the first public version in 2023. Development started from a collection of small command-line helpers used internally for format conversion, encoding and validation tasks. Those helpers were consolidated into a single desktop application so that routine operations would not require separate scripts or web services. The application is written in Swift for the macOS build and in C# with the .NET framework for the Windows build, with shared logic organized around a common tool registry.
