  • To-do boards. Tasks are arranged into categories and groups, with day-by-day cards that can be flipped for quick review. Each task supports routines and sub-steps, so large assignments can be broken into ordered, repeatable actions without creating separate projects.
  • Calendar views. The calendar offers monthly, weekly, and yearly layouts. A continuous view ignores month boundaries and shows events as one uninterrupted flow. This removes the need to jump between separate month screens when planning across several weeks.
  • Event customization. Events accept colors, types, repeat rules, and free-form notes. Color coding and event types let users visually separate work, study, and personal schedules. Repeat rules handle daily, weekly, monthly, or custom interval patterns.
  • D-days and anniversaries. Countdown timers track the days remaining until an exam, deadline, or scheduled event. Anniversary counters count upward from a start date. Both appear directly on the calendar, so date context is visible next to regular events and tasks.
  • Sticky memos. A memo board stores free-form pages with rich text. The board is not tied to calendar dates, which makes it suitable for reference notes, lists, and long-form planning that does not fit into timed events or structured tasks.
  • Rule-based alerts. Notifications are triggered by user-defined rules rather than fixed defaults. A morning briefing summarizes the previous day and the current day, compiling completed tasks, upcoming events, and countdown changes into a single daily update.
  • Real-time sync. Every change is pushed to all connected devices immediately. When a device is offline, edits are stored locally and reconciled automatically after reconnection. The merge process preserves the latest state without duplicate entries or lost updates.
  • Windows application. A native Windows build is distributed through the Microsoft Store or as a standalone installer. The desktop version keeps the same interface as the web client while running outside the browser.
  • macOS application. A disk image package installs the macOS version. The desktop build uses the same synchronization backend as the web and Windows versions, so switching between operating systems does not require separate accounts or manual export.
  • Unified schedule. Tasks, events, countdowns, and memos are stored in one system rather than separate modules. A single searchable timeline shows how short-term to-dos relate to long-term deadlines and anniversaries.

Todori was created in 2023 by an independent development team focused on personal scheduling tools. The project began as a web application and later expanded to desktop platforms. The interface is built with Next.js, while the desktop versions are packaged with Tauri. Development started with a simple task board and gradually integrated calendar views, countdown timers, and synchronization.
