TSplus — Free Download. Remote desktop

TSplus Remote Access is a remote desktop and application delivery platform built as an alternative to Citrix and Microsoft RDS. It enables organizations to publish Windows applications and full desktops to users on any device through RDP, RemoteApp, or HTML5 web access. The platform supports concurrent connections, printer mapping, disk mapping, and centralized management for small businesses and large enterprises. TSplus works on-premises or in cloud environments, with permanent licensing and subscription options available.

  • Remote Desktop Delivery. TSplus provides full Windows desktops to remote users over RDP or HTML5 protocols. Each user receives a standard desktop with shortcuts, Start Menu, and taskbar. The session runs on a central server while input and display are transmitted to the client device. This supports concurrent users on a single Windows server without requiring Microsoft RDS Client Access Licenses.
  • Application Publishing. Administrators can publish individual Windows applications instead of full desktops. Applications appear on the user's local device through a floating panel, application panel, or automatic launch at connection. This mode keeps the remote application window separate from the local desktop, reducing confusion and bandwidth usage.
  • HTML5 Web Access. The built-in web portal allows users to connect through any modern browser without installing client software. Login through the portal provides access to full desktops, individual applications, or a Progressive Web App interface. HTML5 mode removes the browser URL bar and menus for a cleaner session experience.
  • Universal Printer. The Universal Printer converts documents to PDF format and pushes them to the local device without requiring specific printer drivers. This eliminates the need to map local printers manually. Printing works through fast Virtual Channel connections, so the administrator does not configure printer drivers on the server side.
  • Virtual Printer. The Virtual Printer provides advanced configuration for non-standard printing requirements. Administrators can set label printers, specific page sizes, and custom paper handling. It offers greater control over printer configurations and works with Windows PCs where fine-tuning is required for specialized output devices.
  • Disk Mapping. Local drives from the client device can be redirected into the remote session. Users can open, save, and transfer files between their local machine and the remote desktop or application. Disk mapping works over the same secure connection as the session and supports multiple drive letters and folder redirection.
  • Web Portal Customization. The TSplus web portal can be rebranded with company name, logo, colors, and images without web design knowledge. Customization is performed through the administration console. The user entry point then matches the corporate identity, which is important for businesses offering application access to external clients.
  • SSL Encryption. All remote connections are protected with modern TLS encryption. Wildcard certificates are supported for multi-domain environments. TSplus integrates with the Let's Encrypt service for automatic generation and renewal of free SSL certificates, reducing the administrative overhead of certificate management.
  • RDP Client Generator. TSplus includes a tool that creates preconfigured RDP client files. Users receive a single-click connection experience without manually entering server addresses, ports, or credentials. The generated client can launch a full desktop or a single application depending on administrator settings.
  • Multi-Server Farm Management. The Enterprise Edition allows operation of TSplus across multiple servers from a single administration point. Load balancing distributes user sessions across servers. Centralized management covers application publishing, user permissions, and session monitoring for larger deployments.
  • Session Recording. Remote sessions can be recorded for audit and security review. Recordings capture screen activity and user input during the session. Administrators can store recordings on a specified network location and review them later for compliance or troubleshooting purposes.
  • Two-Factor Authentication. TSplus 2FA adds a second authentication factor to user logins. Users receive a time-based one-time password on their mobile device or email. This protects remote access from credential theft and brute-force attacks without requiring hardware tokens.

TSplus development began in 2004 in France. The company was founded by Dominique Benoit and his team to create a remote desktop solution that removes the complexity and cost of Microsoft terminal services licensing. The first version focused on allowing multiple concurrent RDP sessions on Windows desktop operating systems. Over the following years, the product expanded with application publishing, HTML5 access, security tools, and multi-server support. The core codebase is written in C++ and Delphi, with additional components in C# for web portal functionality.
