Peerino is a desktop application for direct file sharing between two computers, operating without cloud storage, user accounts, or intermediary servers. Files are transferred peer-to-peer using WebRTC technology with end-to-end encryption through DTLS. When a direct connection cannot be established due to symmetric NAT, CGNAT, or corporate firewalls, the application falls back to a TURN relay provided by Cloudflare, which forwards only encrypted traffic. The program operates on a LAN-first principle, meaning same-network transfers complete instantly without consuming relay bandwidth. Available for Windows as an MSI installer, NSIS package, or portable executable, Peerino is distributed as open source software under the AGPL-3.0 license.
